Cardboard boxes are practically useless in keeping animals out of your stored malt. This is especially the case when the animals in question are 60-pound Labradoodles.

To a rodent, cardboard is nesting material. Or food in a pinch. But not if there's actual food inside the cardboard, then it's just a minor inconvenience.
