if you have lots of questions about weisse beers then look into the Eric Warner book, German Wheat Beer, by the Classic Beer Style Series.

Not a true bock in the sense that it's not a lager. It's often made with the same (ale) yeasts as other wheat beers. The "bock" part of the name refers to the high gravity and the fact it will often have a lot of sweetness and melanoidin character.
