how long are agricola games usually? settlers can sometimes drag out horribly - you know who's gonna win, but sometimes crappy dice rolls can delay the inevitable for a long time.

Depends on the number of players and efficiency of each player. I'd say about 1.5 to 2 hours probably. The awesome thing about agricola is that unlike settlers, you don't tend to see a lot of "this guy is so far ahead he's going to win....why bother continuing" happening. It's a very dynamic game.

By far the best thing is playing DnD. I have a big 36 oz. Mug and I fill it, then slay many goblins with my might fist full of dice.

I love to cook and drink. I can come up with some crazy stuff when drinking. Many times I'm the only one eating it though.

I'm grilling chicken breasts marinated in a lemon oregano sauce right now. Picked the lemons off my tree about 2 hours ago. Also, drinking a super-superb German Pilsner at the same time (SMaSH - Weyermann Pils and Saaz). I love my grill. And my beer. I'm in a good place right now. Yepper.

So many things depending on the day. My current favorite thing on my mind due to the recent rise in local temps is hanging out n the front yard with friends and our kids with the Disc Golf basket out and the grill going. Not. Much. Longer.
