whats stinging my nostrils?

i brewed a pale ale on saturday and its sitting in the fermentor now i cant help smelling it cause its amazing but wen i take a big whife i get a stinging sensation in my nostrils what is that, is this bad? its got a nice krausen from S-05 and as i said it smells amazing. any suggestions?

It's from the CO2 blanket floating on top of your beer

ah ok, and thats a good thing i take it since its CO2 and not oxygen

Yep, just don't sniff up too much or you will get light headed
