m00ps Sunny D will be my second brew of 2016..
This weekend will be a 3 gallon batch something like
60/15/10/5 hop boil additions adding to 60ish IBU
2-3 ounces in a hopstand at 170F for 30min
Vermont yeast strain from Giga or RVA
IPA - 2-row 82%, C40 3%, Flaked Wheat 15% - 007 the golden hop (6.5% ABV)
Then Kicking around some other ideas for end of January...
IPA - 2-row 92%, C40 3%, Flaked Barley 4% - Nelson Sauvin, Ahtanum, Chinook, maybe a bit of Columbus (5.9% ABV)
DIPA(ish) - Marris otter 89%, C20 3%, Honey malt 3%, Flaked Wheat 5%, -Chinook, Columbus, Citra, Ahtanum +(whole coffee bean added during cold crash) (7.6% ABV)
