Sorry mods didn't know where to put this, move if necessary.

This is on the OUTSIDE of both of my glass carboys. This is the first time i've used my freezer as a fermenter. It looks like mold, like little tiny snowflakes of freakin mold. I throughly cleaned freezer before use, should I be as alarmed as I am right now? Could this crap get inside? Does anyone else who uses a freezer ever seen this?

As long as it's on the outside and not in.

You'll be fine.

I'd suggest dipping a wash cloth into a mild bleach solution and wiping it down real good. There's obviously something there for the mold to feed on.

+ 1 on the damprid. That little tub is amazing and will suck the excess moisture out of your kezzer nice and fast.

Edit: You might want to check your the seal around the door.

i've had what looked like little bits of mold on the top of the INSIDE of my carboy.

i figured it was just yeast that stuck up against the side. mild turned out great :)
