Yesterday I brewed my 1st all grain batch. 2 row / palisade SMaSH. During the boil I had a lot of white-ish particles rolling around. It started to form a film on the surface. I'm assuming this was protein but I'm not sure. Any insight? Please tell me this is normal.
 
I'm a noob all grainer who has seen the same. Beer came out fine but not sure what it was. I even thought of posting the same. Interested in hearing an answer as well.
