This is what I made. 3 gallon size.
LME Amber malt 3.3 oz
Grains: 4oz of crystal 60L - 2 oz Aromatic - 2oz biscuit
Hops: bitterer 1oz Willamette and split 1oz Yakima Goldings in two sessions for flavor and aroma...i was hoping for an ESB but its very caramelly sweet? This was a online recipe but i just substituted english hops for comparable us hops

From the grain bill, I'd say "beer flavored very-low-alcohol beverage", but I'll allow for the oz/lb typo ;)

Anyway, I'd say it was an "Englishy Ale".
Not sure it amounts to an ESB, but it's in the neighborhood...

Cheers!

I wouldn't expect this recipe to finish so sweet.
what yeast did you use?
what was your og? fg?

Agree with above. Amber malt by itself is too sweet for my tastes. Add other specialty malts and you looking for an unpalatble sweet mess. I'd cut it by 50%

Yeast was Salfale04 OG was 1.042 FG was 1.012, its good tasting, but being it was an ESB recipe (cut in half) its more Carmely than Bitter. Maybe i should compare it to an English ESB rather than American brand

Its a amber/copper color, i think next try i will use golden light lme and Wyeast London yeast
