Today i brewed my first large batch of hard cider. I think it will be great. To set the mood as I always do. I put on a classic vinyl record. It was none other the dark side of the moon by pink Floyd Good music is key to me when brewing. So here is what I did.

I went reasonable with this

3 gallons of motts apple juice ( arsnic included)
3 cups of corn sugar and 1/2 cup of dark brown sugar. I boiled and dissolved in 1 cup of apple juice and added to my bucket fermenter stirred well and then I pitched plain bakers yeast and let sit for ten mins and stirred well. I covered and put on lid and air lock. Simple as I could do. But I was wondering what any one thinks. About four hours in I have lite fermenting occurring I coined thee cider. The dark side of cider as my name for this cider brew. Fun is all I know. Peace

I would probably check gravity next time, so you'd know how much Alcohol you have in there. Also, I'd try brewers yeast next time (I used safeale US-33 on my cider and it was fantastic!) Should be interesting at any rate. Best of luck!
