I just tweaked a recipe for a belgian pale ale this weekend. First batch was delicious I just wanted to make it mine. Anyways it ended at 1.090 which I think is over bpa in the eyes of judges.
18 lbs belgian pale
.25 lbs aromatic
.25 crystal 10
.25 caravienne
1 lb light candy sugar
1 lb cane sugar
1 oz Syrian holdings 60 min
1 oz saaz 15 min
Would this be more golden strong then? Something else? This was a 6 gallon batch btw.
Thanks for any insight. Cheers
