What size are "beer nuts"?

These guys list 2 different sizes.
What is the standard size that fits on faucet shanks and couplers coming out of jockey boxes?
Or are their multiple sizes for this "standard"?

The standard beer thread is 5/8" bspp, which also works out to 7/8" x 14. In my keezer history I have bought shanks and tailpieces claiming the latter, and recently converted to John Guest Push-to-Connect fittings where the part that screws right onto my shanks is 5/8" bspp...

I assume this is one case where stainless or plates really wont make a difference?
The nut should hold the tailpiece against the gasket and the shank. I don't see how the beer would actually touch it.

I know what 7/8 14 is.
What does bspp stand for?

British Standard Pipe-Parallel. There is also a tapered configuration.
