What mats are you using for a wort drain hose?

I am building a new mash tun and couldnt find any information on what people use as a wort drain hose from the ball valve into the kettle.

I used to use a standard PVC hose that I purchased from m LBHS but after some reading found these were toxic at higher temperatures. People have recommended using CPVC but I haven't been able to find any in my area.

Just curious what others are using to drain their wort from the mash tun?

Silicone or hi temp vinyl are the norm.

ok cool. i've seen vinyl tubing around, but i havent looked yet to see if it was suitable.

1/2" ID vinyl tubing on my Coleman Cooler setup. Too long however and it kinks.

5/8" ID, thick walled PVC tubing is what I've been using for a very long time. Polyester braid reinforced on the suction side and non-reinforced on the outlet side. U.S Plastics was my source:
