What kind of bug/disease is this

Hi all, this is my first year growing hops, and they started off not so hot. However I found out that it was sunburn / sun scorch. Since then, they have been growing fine, however I was checking them out yesterday, and there seems to be an insect that is chewing through some of the leaves. I suppose it could be a disease, but I am assuming that it is an insect. Here are a few pictures of the damage to the leaves:

Nailed it, I saw a big ol caterpillar under one of the leaves. Is there anything you guys recommend to take care of them?

Manually remove them or maybe spray them off with a hose.

Bacillus thuringiensis Spray it in the evening as it's UV-sensitive.

B.t. is an excellent organic option, BUT can be slow acting as it relies on the caterpillar ingesting the spores. The spores interact within the alkaline stomach of the caterpillar to poison/kill. Be sure to look for formulations that are listed as B.t. var. kurstacki, the strain that is labelled for "controlling tent caterpillars, gypsy moth, cabbage looper, tomato hornworm and other leaf eating caterpillars on many trees, shrubs, tomatoes and other vegetables"....Just reading from MY bottle of B.t.K.!!
