I was looking at the history of brewing in my hometown of Indianapolis IN and there was a brewery that made a beer with ozotonic and malt extracts before and during prohibition. There seems to be no information on ozotonic extract on the net other than this brewery who made it.Anybody have a clue?

According to the Indiana Medical Journal, ozotonic is brewed from pure malt and hops, and is used for those who suffer from indigestion or dyspepsia. During prohibition, since breweries obviously couldn't brew beer legally, the Indianapolis Brewing Company began to brew mineral water and other various tonics for medical uses.

Hope that helps.
