I'm fairly new to homebrew but I just picked up 5 more corny kegs so I want to do some heavy brewing. I plan to take advantage of AHS' current free shipping offer. My question, they have a lot of kits, what are some of the most popular ones? I like having a variety of beers on hand so I don't have a preference. What 4-5 should I order?

All the kits I've tried have been good. I guess it depends on what you like to drink! In the past, I've done a Fat Tire kit (good for non-craft beer drinkers), Pete's Wicked Ale clone, and various others. I like having various styles on tap so I'd suggest a good mix, like maybe a stout, an amber, a Belgian, etc.

Thank's for the quick response. I agree on the variety. Even from there I'm just too indecisive. They all sound so damn tasty!

I just did their Ginger/Lemongrass Pale and man does it smell awesome (still fermenting). I also picked up a saison from them at the same time.

Funny i just brewed that today myself. thought it sounded girly but man it smelled so good brewing.

OP - If you have tried Fat Tire and like it their clone is excellent. I am still a noob myself but i think their Fat tire clone has been by far my best and favorite beer so far.

I'm a big fan of Fat Tire. Haven't tried any clones yet but that may have to be added to my cart

while on the topic...with football season coming up, finally, what is a great fall brew from ahs?

thanks everyone for the help. I wasn't really sure where to start but it sounds like I can't really go wrong. Here's what I ended up purchasing:

AHS Promo Old School IPA
AHS Cream Ale
Fat Tire Amber Ale (New Belgium)
AHS Belgian White Beer
AHS Vanilla Porter

I may have to update and let you guys know which one was my favorite

Austin Homebrew Supply. They have a flat rate ship charge of like $7.99 and free shipping with all orders over $100.

I don't know about shipping kits free.

Thanks for all the props. AHS is AUstin Homebrew Supply. Or www.austinhomebrew.com

Please use the words Austin Homebrew when referring to my store. New brewers do not know what AHS stands for. It also help me when I search for posts that I should read. The seach on this forum has to have at least 4 letters.
