The goal of this brew is to feature some amazing hops grown by a friend of mine, in an interesting but approachable style.
Planning to throw a series of parties to feature each of his hop types. He babies these things and they are top notch hops. This is my idea for his Willamette.
Uncomplicated balanced water profile. Mash 60 minutes at 150F. I'll be kegging and serving within weeks.
I do not know the actual AA of the hops, but they are high quality. I used Magnum to decrease the impact if the AA is wildly off. I expect the whirlpool utilization to be a bit less than half calculated, as my temp will be 150F.
Any thoughts? How can I improve this recipe or this idea? Starter is already done but grains aren't milled yet.
