I brewed a ten gallon batch of Firestone dba and the starter is used flocculated and dropped to the bottom. When it was time to pitch it the majority of the yeast was on the bottom. Long story short I hardly pitched any yeast. I didn't notice that the yeast was still on the bottom.
I have twi 6 gallon carboys with essentially 18 hour old wort. What do I do? Do I do a new starter with new yeast and re-pitch or do I try and salvage the yeast that was in my growler that had been sitting in my garage for 18 hours at 60 degrees.
Help!
