So...I got the brewing itch today and kinda threw this together. I guess I was thinking I wanted something malty, belgian-y, and with a hop forward european character. But I'm not really sure what to call this! Thoughts?

For three gallons:
3 lbs Light DME
1 lb Victory Malt
1 lb Abbey Malt
.5 lb Honey Malt

Yeast: Wyeast 3522 Belgian Ardennes

Hops:
30M: .5 oz Green Bullet
10M: 1 oz Czech Saaz
Flameout: 1 oz Czech Saaz + .25 oz Green Bullet
Dryhop: 1 oz Czech Saaz

Predicted OG: 1.065
Predicted FG: 1.016
Predicted ABV: 6.3
Predicted SRM: 10
Predicted IBU's: 34

I'm running with that- thanks! This is my first time with the 3522- it is blasting some serious foam out of the blowoff tube at the moment. Exciting! I'll update my results once I get this in the bottle.

Well, the victory malt made this one come out MUCH darker than I was anticipating, so I'm calling it a Belgian Black Pale Ale, haha. I added the dry hops last night and I am going to bottle this weekend so should have an update on this one soon!

Black<>Pale...

These nomenclature issues don't trouble me a whole lot, so long as the beer is tasty! :D
