G gamba Member Joined Mar 29, 2012 Messages 9 Reaction score 0 Location vancouver Jul 2, 2012 #5 Hey, Give this a shot - with mine the two crosshatched pieces, the grippy metal parts ( don't know the proper name ) are actually two pieces, the top part is threaded on and it moves so that the handle can be secured without the gap - that worked for me
