I'd say it turned out pretty good. Yakitori on top 2 hearts and the liver.

Smoked Mexican burgers. Smoked at 225 for 40 min and then seared over charcoal. While I had the grill hot I cooked up some chicken tenderloins to prep some lunches for the week. I also just made my first few bottles of homemade hot sauce with habaneros and ghost peppers.

Cornish game hens with the Weber Grill Honey & Garlic rub, smoked over lump charcoal and apple wood chunks. They were pretty tasty, we'll have to make these again.

Top is corned beef hash for Sunday Brunch this weekend, and for dinner I roasted a pork loin on the grill with a little smoke from pecan wood, that really smelled good, I saw one of my neighbors drooling.

Yesterday corned beef boil. Today lawn and garden had me hurting. Grilled some brats and opened a can of beans. Easy but went well with a porter.

I love me some corned beef hash and that looks so tasty!
Thanks, the canned stuff is meh. My mom used to take the leftovers from boiled corned beef and cabbage dinner (all the veggies plus onion) and fry it up, but my hubby doesn't care for that... I'll let you know it he approves of this.

I made some with diced sweet potatoes one time - browned them up first in some bacon fat, then added the onion and corned beef. Pretty dang good and lower carb than regular 'taters!
Have also done with diced radishes in place of potatoes. Surprisingly good. Cooking mellows them out and they lose the radish "bite" and just look like fried new potatoes.

Seared mahi mahi with mango salsa, green beans, and cacio e pepe' (noodles with pecorino romano cheese and LOTS of black pepper).

Swmbo made chicken soup yesterday with leftovers from smoked chicken. Seared the carcass with mirepoix in evoo. Added some garlic and made soup. Added cooked home made noodles at the end. It was so good.
Today seared that chicken in a skillet with pineapple, then added brown sugar, soy sauce and teriyaki sesame marinade from tj called soyaki. With basmati rice, was so good. Breakfast was bacon, buns, eggs over medium, and cheddar on the griddle. The pic doesnt dobthe rice or bacon justice.

Ever tried steamed in ocean water? Buddy did it at a tailgate five-six years ago... I’ve never eaten lobster any other way since.
Good stuff. Obviously need to get to an ocean but...

What's less obvious is how I made them. I started the potatoes with olive oil and rosemary from last years garden along with a Spoonful of garlic. Then I dumped the potatoes on them and mixed it up. The brussel sprouts I started with olive oil salt and douse them heavily with Penzeys Sunnyside spice. The fillets are cooked with salt and Mesquite McCormick steak seasoning. I could have lived without it.
Throw seaweed in there too.
The lobster shacks I like use sea water. They don't empty the water after every use. Doesn't smell or look great while cooking but adds good ocean flavor to the meal. It's steaming in a broth after a couple of batches.
One way I'll never cook it is draw and quartering before cooking. Let's say I can never get the thing to sleep after quartering it a couple of times. I've had tails jump off the grill. Plus i don't keep the flavor in when it's all opened up.
