What did I cook this weekend.....

If that is what taco bell's food looks like now, I need to go back there.

It has been since may 2007 since I last went to taco bell, I don't ever once remember seeing anything green other than iceberg lettuce.

Driving home from work tonight. 7:40 pm. SWMBO not home yet. Bucknuts has me wanting Mexican. If I cook we wont eat till 9:45. I'm up at 5:30 for another 12 hour shift. Stopped at TB. Mistake.

I think I'm gonna be off tomorrow anyways because my colon is liable to be dead and Ill be in the ICU but Ill be occupying a bed.

Im a professional, I'm pretty sure its not supposed to hurt this much when you fart.

I am a self confessed Mexican food snob but those Doritos locos tacos at Taco bell are freakin good. I'm a nurse as well and in my professional opinion any and all GI symptoms after a meal at taco bell are wnl.

What are southern style stuffed bell peppers? My mom used to make stuffed peppers, but not sure if they are all "southern" or if that is a special variety.

Not much time to cook this weekend; I was up in the mountains picking huckleberries, Didn't see any bears & I've got about 15lbs in the freezer right now. So I made beer boiled brats W/kraut, sauteed chard W/mushrooms, baby corn & garlic, and herbed rice W/thyme, sage, rosemary, garlic & chicken stock instead of water, with a few cubes of chicken bullion & a big glop of butter. Reasonably quick & easy, and quite tasty with a few Moose Drool brown ales.

Smoked boston butt, homemade bourbon bbq sauce, house cole slaw and stir fried green beans and garlic. Meat didn't come out as pull-apart as I was hoping, but it sure was tasty.

Either wine or melomel, with any leftovers going into BBQ sauce, or maybe pancakes. Huckleberries make an awesome BBQ sauce.

Well thats what i called it. Its has ground turkey, rice, salsa, cheese. Chiplote pepper and some sauteed veggies. Just seems southern or SW to me. I just made this recipe up
