What diameter rubber stopper?

Hey All,

I am upgrading from my Mr. Beer kit to a plastic bucket kit. I am buying my own buckets and lids. I just need to know what size drilled rubber stopper I should get for my airlock. I am drilling my own hole in the plastic bucket lid and just need to know the best size of stopper to buy from Midwest. Thanks for any help.

Most carboys are #7 or #7.5, so if you get one of those, you can use it later when you upgrade.

I use 7s for everything...lids and carboys.

Thanks, it is hard to buy some of this stuff off the internet, but the closest HBS is about an hour away.
