Almost ashamed to admit it, but I picked up a sixer of Sam Adams Latitude 48 IPA the other day to check it out. I'm not a huge Sam fan, but I figured I see how they did with this one... and it ain't bad! Certainly not at the top of my list, but a pretty solid IPA nonetheless. Glad I tried it, and I'd probably buy it again.

Also stocking Williamsburg Alewerks Porter, Shiner Bock, New Belgium Ranger, and some assorted others. Oh- and, of course, there's always a few PBRs in there for when I just want something schwillable. Even cheap beer has its place...

No reason to be ashamed. Sam Adams makes some pretty solid beers. Nothing off the charts, but definitely solid. :mug:

Not much commercial beers, I have 3 kegs in my keezer but I have an Arrogant Bastard, and a few different other Stone beers. Some Abita for those who seem to like it and that's about it.
I spend all my money on making my beers so I try not to buy too much else.

Voodoo maple bacon donut... ::shivers::

Had it once, will never have it again...aaaawful
Drank it last night.

Pretty sure that I agree with you on that.

It felt like I was drinking one of my favorite pipe tobaccos... liquid smoke, with only the tiniest hint of maple or bacon.

That sucks. I got excited when I saw this beer at the store but I haven't heard anything good about it.

You can pull aromas of ever piece in the name, the bacon and even the sweetness of a donut. But if you look at the grain bill on the bottle its like 5 different kinds of smoked malts...waaay too much smoke. Granted smoked beers is one of the only styles i cant stand...it had so much potential, too bad it was awful, i suppose not EVERYTHING is better with bacon and some flvors just dont mix
