i gave a few friends a couple of my beers to try and one of they came back to me that it has a metalic finish. What causes this?

Metallic flavors in beer is likely the result of high iron content in water. Or it could be that you used mild steel, aluminium, or cast iron in your brew process.

I use the bayou classic 16gal stainless pots. So I am pretty sure they are full stainless and not coated. I guess I need to get my water tested.

Thanks

Some people might perceive excessive carbonic 'bite' as metallic which could come from force carbing. Maybe try a batch without force carbing ans see if there is a flavor difference.
