So my friend and I have gotten addicted to home brewing and have brewed seven times since the new year. As beginners, we've been trying to run the gamut to get a feel for all the different types of beer and so far we've brewed

1.) A Red Ale
2.) A Porter
3.) An American Pale Ale
4.) A Blackberry Ale
5.) An Oatmeal Coffee Stout
6.) A Honey Lager
7.) A Belgian Wit

Any suggestions as to what we might try next? We wanted some input from others!

are you extract, pm or all grain? Also what have you brewed thus far?

We've done extract and partial mash but haven't yet dabbled in all-grain, though we've been hoping to.

you should go AG. I've never looked back since! Any how, I vote for a red ale. I'm brewing a Founder's Red's Rye clone tomorrow. I've done a Red Rocket too that turned out quite tasty.

It looks like you're still short an IPA. Then again an IPA might be my suggestion even if your list read 7 IPA's so far. Just feelin the hops tonight. Maybe a barleywine or a saison if you're trying to get a feel for brewing the different styles though.

I'd suggest either an IPA or a saison. I've got a saison in primary right now. First thing I've brewed that actually smells good coming out of the air lock.
