I know that we want to do quick hits and keep it moving with a minimum of replies in this thread, but that's twice tonight that you've made me comment on the color you're getting out of your beers. Just gorgeous! To my mind, that's what a UK Golden Ale should look like.

Stopped at Smijdan Brugghus in Vik. Had a Wet Spot NEIPA and a Helta Kelti Milkshake IPA. Funnily, they had Toppling Goliath cans - for $21.50 US!! (130 IS Kr per $1 US dollar).

I paid $18/4pk for salt water. For the love of God, please stop over doing chemicals. I've had so many NEIPAs with this salty overtone. @Yooper said it best years ago when she educated me on their use, "Less is More".

Two paws up from Hogarth! Worried he wasn't going to like it. The hazelnut is a nice twist. It has a slight sweetness which is appreciated. Price was steep but whenever that happens, I ask myself what a Bud would cost at a restaurant.

So, day 6 mead fermentation. Checking. Currently at 11%. 1.134 to 1.050. Amazingly enough, pretty drinkable now! Bit sweet obviously. Wanted to see if the 90deg day caused "gasoline"..nope! Can't waste this so will bottle it for now. (There is a story, my hydrometer flask broke so had to make due with the tallest container I had. )

Sour brewed in Huntsville, AL. Nice fruit aroma, not so much on the taste. Low end on the sour. Nice brew.
