Kegging sample of a Hazy Ale, sort of a NEIPA Lite. 2.5 gal batch; based on the taste of this sample I’m gonna need a bigger batch next time.

I know that we want to do quick hits and keep it moving with a minimum of replies in this thread, but that's twice tonight that you've made me comment on the color you're getting out of your beers. Just gorgeous! To my mind, that's what a UK Golden Ale should look like.

Reeeeaaaally hoping to get some brews done this weekend, but as of now my wife has a suspected case of Mono and I got word today I didn’t get in to the engineering program I applied for. So tonight is some thoughtful indulgence by way of a Prophet in Plain Clothes.

So, day 6 mead fermentation. Checking. Currently at 11%. 1.134 to 1.050. Amazingly enough, pretty drinkable now! Bit sweet obviously. Wanted to see if the 90deg day caused "gasoline"..nope! Can't waste this so will bottle it for now. (There is a story, my hydrometer flask broke so had to make due with the tallest container I had. 😉)
