Regardless of the 10F RF, it's still the weekend, right? Besides, feels a lot warmer, like 14F. This hits the spot with sausage getting ready to go on. Tomorrow is the BIG grill day though.
Eighty-Eight Brewing 'Ring Pop' DDH Hazy IPA. The beer is much more orange in colour, just bad lighting.
I sometimes forget that the hop plant is very closely related to the marijuana plant. If one didn't know, the hop aroma from this beer could be mistaken for a very skunky adjunct!
Might have explained this already, but the Winter Olympics were held here in 1988, hence the name of this local Calgary brewery. Cheers!
Everyone is asleep and I’m awake after snow blowing the driveway, clearing the deck and a section of the back yard for the little dog & a quick workout. Now I'm wide awake and ready for a beer.
Having one of my favorites while brewing a NZ pils. I hadn’t bought firebrick in awhile and it looked amazing in the store. Plus for every case sold(and every tap pint sold locally), they donate to various MN fire departments. Sounds like a win-win to me.
Fingers crossed this NZ pils works out.
SoCo Home Brew's solid Irish stout. Next is a Thirsty Planet sample of their 3rd attempt at a Hazy. TP is late to the game but this wasn't bad. Not over the top. Guess it'll be released in March. SoCo is located in the TP brewery so I get samples from time to time.
