Visited the Nephew & family, they know I like lotsa different beers, that's what I got for Christmas!
They picked up some good ones from Tipsy's, huge liquor store at the edge of town.
Said they had several beer advisors handy, got a 20 minute review of some beers.
Brought this bottle home, I only had one that day, it was snowing in the mountains but the roads weren't that bad...

Was almost scared to try it 'cause I don't really like sour beers, well I assumed wrong.
This one was tasty. Farmhouse ale. I had to look up "saison", learned something, never
bothered before. Was never a big fan of the fruit beer category either but maybe the few
I tried before were not so great.

Cat Grass, a reference to hops? Like catnip maybe...
Citra hops…which many have complained can have a cat piss smell
It was also originally designed as a “same day ipa” in that it was packaged and in the distribution footprint the same day

HB Kiwi Express IPA

My Old Ales (10% ABV) take forever to carb, at least three months. Incidentally, it takes that long for mine to really taste good.
An IPA, same ABV, fully carbed in a week.

Thanks, yeah it was still pretty sweet, probly needs some time in the box.
