A couple of pix from my golf/brew adventure out in western mass Mohawk Trail area. Visited the new Treehouse. They're just doing pickup now. There is a grain farm just 20 minutes south and more importantly a beautiful hop farm Four Star. 20 minutes north. There's about 5 good breweries all within that area. Yes! A partly sunny day with rain!!!

@Dgallo Thanks! I haven't joined one yet. Know of one in Scotia. You know of any good ones around?
The scotia one is new and I personally do not know anyone in it. I think one of the hbs in that areas owner is in the club and that they meet at Mohawk Taproom which is a great spot. I’m a member of the Albany Brew Crafters. @BrewMan13 is our secretary! Then there is a Saratoga club.

I feel so inferior to yuns lol I am not into all these fancy beers. I just brew what I like to drink and every now and then I try something different.
Name of the game! Retail beer prices are absurd these days. DiL sent me this. You can practically buy a 6pk of Guinness for $9.

Chugging some water. This is #3 after a long ass day. Brewed a Pilsner this morning. Helped my son put the finishing touches on his 4-H woodworking project so my brother can help him spray the lacquer finish on it Monday. Then worked until dark in our riding arena building some new roping boxes so we can practice team roping here. A shower and bed is gonna feel pretty good here in a while.

That is my 'out of hb' commercial beer, and I'm not ashamed to admit it.

Need to brew the all-grain version of the petite saison... Northern Brewer extract kit was spot on... recommend full volume boil and Belgian saison yeast (I used the dry). Fantastic summer beer!
