Bottling leftovers of an apricot vanilla mead brewed up in February 2020 while brewing a rye pale ale. I’m not much of a mead maker, but I enjoy this one.

That can't be Nebraska. I see trees 😁

Tropical storm dumped a ton of rain and now the sun is shining. Braved the storm to pick up a mailbox bomb from @Dgallo (mailbox is waaay down the street) . Of all the choices im picking off his HB first. Cheers and thanks! Top notch HB
Trees are sporadic, for sure. Although, Arbor Day did start in Nebraska

Nothing wrong with the treeless portion of Nebraska. We did a cross country trek when I was a kid very long ago. Visited a lot of Big Sky and prairie but that 500' we got lost into northern Nebraska was the flattest biggest sky I've ever seen. Then the wind started to blow and it was beautiful watching the land for as far and flat as you could see. I still remember nights driving as storms would pass and full moons on the right.

Back to awesome @Dgallo HB

It is always windy here. One thing that surprised me when we moved here 5 years ago.

Fidens/OH collab courtesy of @Dgallo Off the top, at the first sip it reminded me of the broccoli kong vs green city all-stars Triple in terms of the hop bill that I had some time ago. Danky aroma and dank flavor hits you first followed by citrusy fruitiness in the background to smooth it all out. Great hop combo. Grain bill is fantastic and steals the show IMO. Assuming there's a heavy dose of malted oats in this thing lol. Big body mouthfeel but not overly heavy in the belly. Love the foam. Great all round collaboration.

Made the mistake of showing my wife the kittens. She’s in love.

They are fosters. I have five that need homes.

HB Plum saison, sans plums. Had extra soooo…

HB Helles sampler. Still green. Need a wort chiller and a sink that isn’t fancy.

The single taster photo is a Sector 5 QIPA from The Veil at 12% ABV. I brought a can to share with my friends who work at OH FLX and they cracked it open right away. Straight booze!! A few weeks ago it was a sweet IPA. Crazy how a few weeks change a beer.
