French press coffee changed my life. For not really that much extra time and effort. We have an ungodly amount of coffee variety in this house, but our cheap French press might be my favorite item.

I've tamed myself back to pour over I waaay to over caffeinated my self with french press then up to the moka. Mmm I miss moka.

Drinking a hb’d neiipa while checking on the hop plants. I’m growing 2 cascade, 2 Columbus, and 2 cashmere. Columbus has been the most vigorous with cascade to follow, the cashmere are weak. Hoping to yield enough from my first year hops to brew 1 beer lol

This is a 'big-boy' drink, so might have to stop combining them after the next one! Motts Clamato at 5.5% + Inner City Brewing 'Soap Box Preacher' tripel at 9.1%. It's actually really good! Haha...or maybe the heat has fried my brain...lol. Stay frosty, everyone!!

Okay, having just a plain 'Soap Box Preacher' by Inner City Brewing. I get some of the pear & apple, none of the clove and maybe a bit of the buttery white wine grape in the finish. Hmm. Might have to buy more for the long weekend to confirm.

I’ve brewed some very mediocre batches (at least to me) lately and now I want to crank out some of my old reliable recipes. I’m also looking to downsize my batch volume from 5 gallons to 2.5-3 gallon so I can brew more often and have more variety. I’ve got two three gallon kegs already and have a lead on a couple 2.5s I’m going to try to score.
A Bitburger in the meantime.

Anyone happen to be in the path from Louisiana back home? I am flying down to pick up a Tesla mid-month (tentatively July 12th and will drive it home. I'll be stopping a lot as I can only manage 200-250 miles before having to recharge, and each charge runs me about 30-45 minutes ($0 - smiles). What I don't know though is where I'll stop for the evening(s) nor how many days it's gonna take. Anyways, if you happen to be in that general route let me know

Small story about a co-worker who suddenly died in his sleep Saturday. He's a Razorback so we bet on the Arkansas-Nebraska Regionals. I lost. We bet on beer and these hefe's that I've drank over the last couple weeks are from that bet. Ergo, this is for John and his family he left behind. Knew the guy for 23years and he'd give the shirt off his back for you. Cheers Brother and Sleep in Peace!

i am a 2.5 gallon brewer normally.
