A lot of the places I visit have realized that everything is online. Now they're aware of how they must incorporate everything else except golf. A friend that is a vp of finance for a priv course settled me down by saying "everyone likes to say the work at a country club but they don't work at a country club" There's a lot of money out there waiting to be given. There's hardly anyone working to take itView attachment 721080

Triple! It's friday
You hit the nail on the head...so few willing to work for it. But it’s not golf exclusive

Woohoo! Pitched my Lager beasties at 21:30...wow, cannot believe how much trub has already dropped at 16ºC/60F. Bubbling away now too, might have to fridge this beauty!

Celebrating with one of my all-time faves, the mighty Fin du Monde. For the non-French speakers out there, it basically means 'The end of the world'. Wrote them (Unibroue) a very long time ago saying I was a huge fan. They sent me 12 of all their specific glasses! Lost 'em by now, so I'll have to make do with this one. Cheers! :mug:

That's a pretty awesome story! Assuming that was before they were bought up. I love their beers too, but have been finding a hell of a time finding the 750ml bottles of fin or maudite here in Toronto, looks like lcbo has stopped stocking them. I did recently buy a mixed 12 pack of 330ml that has a great selection of their classics and some specials.

Ya it was way back in 1998-ish when they sent that case of glasses..could be worth a fortune now..D'oH!! 🤦
Weird that you cannot find them easily considering how close YYZ is to Quebec. If you can find the 4-packs of small bottles, Fin or Maudite, you actually get 900mL for almost the same price! I don't feel too bad buying the beer anymore, because Sapporo is now the current owner. Better them than the faceless conglomerate of Unibroue.

Drinking an organic red wine from the best coffee cup ever, and marvelling at a very nice krausen bubbling away at 12ºC/53.6F Should I remove the heat belt..?? Hmm..the mystery of lager continues! ;) Any tips are appreciated!:mug:

Got restocked from a couple of my local breweries this week, so drinking through some of that today. Started the afternoon off with a great rauchbier, followed by a dependable kolsch “inspired” ale. Got some takeout mexican for dinner and wife and I both figured that the homebrew citra pale ale would go best, so enjoyed a pint of that with some tasty food!

Neighbors coworker bought him a beer of the month thing. He gets a 12 pack every month with 4 different beers (3 bottles each). Since we are beer buddies. I am getting 4 beers a month.

Thank you! My first shoot at decking. Got tired of home brewing in the mud. Between the brewpub and entire deck, only cost me $1500. My 25th work anniversary handed me the equivalent if $2000 in points which I turned into Lowes gift cards. Wish I would've have done the entire backyard then. The price of wood is absurd right now.
