Interesting. Triticale is not even oat at all. It's a crossover between wheat and rye.

Hmm, after looking it up myself, I see you're correct. My grain knowledge is extremely limited, but I had always thought triticale was basically just a variety of any grain that was able to grow in colder, winter climates.
Either way, the beer itself is tasty. Really smooth. I prefer just a tad more roast to my dark beers, but this definitely won't be the last 12 pack that I purchase while its in stock. It might remain well stocked in my fridge until I get my dark ales rolling, at the very least.
