What burnt you out this week? just curious as it was interesting week 4 me too.

Work pressures and lots of number crunching this week.
Got a bid out Thursday that was time sensitive and a lot of the subcontractors gave me their bids/ numbers just a few hours before I needed to submit mine. If my bid was submitted late, the owner would not accept it. Spent a week on it. Meaning lots of analyzing scopes and millions of dollars within a few hours. My total bid was around $6 million and thankfully submitted a few hours before due. Fingers crossed they award the project to me and that I remembered to include budget for all items of the work. The bid was a heavy civil project to build 2,000 LF of new roads, new sewer (20’ deep) , water, storm drain, power, communications, signal lights, Street lights.
Then had hand off meeting for a contract I got to expand an emergency room at a hospital. Demo, grading and paving scope only on this one. 11 phases of work in 2 years.
Now on to the largest project I have ever bid which consists of 10 ea. Separate sets of Civil plans for lots of new roads, building pads for new homes and detention basins. About 200 acres of land. Owner wants full package. Thinking this one will be around $90 million dollars of work.

Looking forward to Homebrewing today so I can relax.

Your week?

Thank God for beer, coffee (currently drinking) and friends on HBT! [emoji482]
