Buddy that gave me the growler is stressed. The manager that fired him at his last job has just been announced he's now at our company taking over our department starting Monday. Trying to empty, then refill for him over our weekend. New Belgium Liquid Paradise IPA

That bottle is through a secondary seller. Their bottles are still pretty pricey at the farm but not 50 bucks

I still have a bunch of older bottles from LCCB back when Sean was still head-brewer and with the family.

3 of them are bottles of Magnificent Pagan Beast 18%

Always a great time at the farm. Their big beers are all great. Their NEIPA attempts could use some help

Toppling Goliaths BA stouts start at $50 a bottle and go up from there. They have a kbbs releasing next month that’s $100 for a 12 oz bottle. Friggin stupid. Rather buy a nice bottle of bourbon or scotch.

That's what I'm saying! I get lightheaded just thinking about dropping 70-100 on Scotch

@pshankstar this is the best one of the beers yet. Thanks dude View attachment 651394

Yeah I’ve been very impressed with Commonwealth Brewing. Haven’t had a lot from them but really enjoyed everything I’ve tried to date. Next time I’m in the DC area I may pick up more of their IPAs.
I think the Aslin one was brewed on their new system at their Arlington, VA location which is much larger than their Herndon, VA location. Thus the hop burn. I have experienced that with Other Half’s new location near me but each batch is getting better and better. Their Brooklyn beers are still great it’s just working out the kinks in the new location.
Cheers bud!

I was going to go out to the garage and roast some coffee but decided I’ll wait till tomorrow. It’s starting to get cold enough outside to start roasting inside soon.
Instead I pulled this beer out of the beer fridge/kegerator/fermentation chamber and turned on Netflix. Thanks again @Dgallo!

Really want to try making one of these.. would love the recipe if you would care to share.

So much easier than I expected

8lb Pilsner malt
3lb pale wheat
Mashed at 152

.75 oz Brewers gold 6%AA @ 15

Once chilled but warm (didn’t measure temp) I broke 7 capsules of l plantarum into the wort and then covered in Saran and put in the bath tub Friday night and left till Sunday afternoon and boiled 20 mins. Fermented with my house yeast and once done transferred onto 2lb/gal of frozen raspberries. I also pre-acidified the wort before l plantarum but can’t remember what the target was
