Made some pies tonight for dinner. Enjoying this gem which @LoneTreeFarms and @CTownBrewer both enjoyed last night.
Waiting for my date night with @PianoMan later tonight. LOL
Yep, through Tavour. Pretty good. Got one more if you want to drive down. [emoji16]You had to get that through the beer site you use. No way it’s distributed in/around Austin yet

[emoji106] always a nice thing. Wish I loved Jester King more. Speaking of...my next beer Honey bun! @pshankstarTheir new brewery and tap room is now 17 minutes from my house. Really excited
How do you get them out of the cast iron pan, AND do you put anything under them while they're in the pan. I've thought about this method a few times but haven't done it.
Looks good! I was on the fence about making one on the stone but said they all are going to be thick crust.

And now the cat has stolen a sliceNo nothing between the dough and the pan. I use tongs to slide them out onto the cutting board.

Decided to try my hand at a thick crust so I could load them up. Also roasted some tomatoes earlier to add to a few of them.
Ok just noticed this. Google knows I got tickets at Alamo Drafthouse tomorrow for 1:15. Hmmmm.....Big hitters east or west but Tavour delivers! [emoji16]View attachment 646866View attachment 646868
Opened this @pshankstar. Learned to let their fruit sours warm to room temp. Fruit really shines there. This year's batch was a bit weak on Raspberry. Last year's was a literal Raspberry jam.View attachment 646865

Decided to open the smallest of the three bottles. This one is really good! I’m going to let it warm up some too to see how it may change.
What a fun night!
Some of the best beer I've had in Iowa. That's another beer and brewery I need to try
