Damn fine! And from Carmel? I'm sold! Thanks @CTownBrewerView attachment 642329

Yeast of Eden is an offshoot of Alvarado Street Brewery. ASB started in Monterey then grew into Salinas with a large brewing and tasting room. They had already started their YoE label by then, and they opened up a brew pub / restaurant in Carmel-by-the-Sea. So...yes : )

But now your gear has lacto. Kettle souring allows killing it

Yeah, but a few sanitizations and sterilizations (as if I knew the difference) should kill the bugs. I usually do an oxiclean soak/rinse followed by a bleach rinse followed by a boiling water soak rinse on all my gear that comes in contact with bugs (except I do keep separate sour-only bottling gear).

Catching up on HBT

Decaf espresso shot (x4 - made some frappes)

The last from @wstbrewing but there is another package slowly taking form...can't wait. OEC is definitely in my Top 3 breweries for sour beer.

My first YoE but that's the kind of old school funk I like. I only hit Carmel by the Sea when I travel from work and Silicon Valley. Usually a day trip so I never get to stay and explore deeper. Lots of Vaca places are so expensive and redtrictive but I wouldn't mind finding something in the Big Sur area and adventuring from there but it's Cali and I'm sure just as difficult

We are in one of the cheaper cities in Monterey County, in our house appraises at somewhere around $450k, eek!! Timing!!

Palo Colorado Rd oftentimes has decent prices and that's a bit south of Carmel but north of Big Sur. It's more ... mountainesque if you will.
