Gewurztraminer that was on sale, testing it out in mushroom sauce in place of sherry. Sure it will be different but grocery store sherry selection was trash.

Yeah, I have never had a bad Chimay as well. This one was far too light in character, had a funky funk that wasn't reminiscent of a chimay. If it didn't cost $8.50 and was required for 1:99 bottles I would've happily handed it back with a smile on my face.
