That's good to hear. I'll be in La Havre for the Women's World Cup so hope to find some good beerThe amber was actually quite good, a bunch of cocoa notes in it as well...more-so than nutty. I initially thought it was a nut brown, but it's somewhere between.
The cuivree reminded me of a light saison. I think they're typically brewed with pale and caramel grains which provided a little bodied ale with some natural funk (no lacto and no brett).
Here is a little write-up about them, http://www.biogis.fr/blog/2013/04/25/biere-biologique-fille-de-lorge-terres-de-solan/ (You will need to translate; I use Google Chrome to translate.
ps: I would drink them again.
Now you're just rubbing it in.Two chimays, a quarter bottle of FLOC, and a still cider with my French colleagues (no pics). A session Porter at Hopscotch (a craft bar and scotch bar) here in Toulouse city centre.

Nice. Not over done. Better than CBS. View attachment 609907
Mmm. Interesting!

My take on CBS is that they ruined a good KBS by making it. It's just too sweet for me. The Clown Shoes has just enough sweetness to help the maple pop through. Of course, just my opinion. YMMV.I have this beer as well as CBS! Can’t wait to try both!

Haha. At first glance those bananas in the back ground made me think something was hanging from the bottle.
Whatever works for you. Sometimes you can do both.I am usually known for rubbing one out...not so much in.

Hmm. I moved it to the fridge last week. Suppose it needs to be drank?
