HB Gingerbread Bourbon Barrel Brown with Ancho chilies. Nose is dead on, but taste does not follow. I left the chilies in fermentor too long. Heat is perfect, but the long contact time extracted too much pepper skin flavor. I'll do some blending tonight to try to get it to come around.
 
Porterhouse red ale. It's very close to a bitter and the color is not red at all (of course because there is no roasted barley in Porterhouse). My Irish Red was more interesting.

Fuller's & Friends Marble Matariki NZ saison. Pale and slightly hazy beer with lots of NZ hops. It is nice & tasty (gooseberry & lemon). Unfortunately I'm not a fan of these highly hop driven beers.
