I was 13 in 1990 at the time of this show. Pantera is the opening act Exodus, ....Suicidal Tendencies is the headliner...at The Channel in South Boston for a 1pm all ages show.... My life changed for ever.....[emoji1591][emoji1591][emoji1591]

Just so we are clear, you and I are likely the same age. Hope 40 is treating you well.

I don't know how to spell "hallelujah" but that's how this Ellison, Making Memories Irish Coffee Imperial Stout tastes. I was plenty worried that it was going to be like a Foster's (nothing wrong with Foster's; just not my bag).
It's really flavorful. I didn't know how it would pour, foam-wise, so I poured horizontally. Nicely carbonated. Vanilla all over the place. Kahlua and Cream. Dessert-like. Pretty strong bittering but complimentary. Coffee flavor not very present in my opinion. Overall, a total surprise. I didn't think it was possible, but I rate this one higher than the Dragon's Silk which I adore.
I did notice that it is vital to get all of your tasting descriptions and opinions in early (before the first third of the beer is drunk) because the 12.5% ABV has quite an impact in dulling the senses.
Couldn't figure out how to get the can out of the four-pack at first. I know they're cans but I didn't want to damage my purchase or whatever so I had to bring in an engineer consultant (my wife) to help me get one loose from the pack.

She might've been a little aggressive from the looks of the wine opener in the background. Lol.
