Basement is a mess. We are remodeling and the carpet was glued to the pad which was glued to the floor. Quite a job for the contractors to remove. Hopefully they can get the last bits up so our new floor installs correctly....

"Do you have a pool?"

"A pool and a pond. A pond would be good for you. Natural spring."

".... Anything would be good."
I lost the pool 2 months ago...idk..just lost! Have a feeling we'll find it soon. [emoji39]

Great being back home. Thanks Dude for this home coming beer!

Here's the current tap list. Nothing too exciting or unusual. I tried the Coconut IPA on Sunday but it didn't do it for me. Their two best selling ipa's are Hoppy Poppy and Lizard Mouth. Both are solid though not spectacular. I prefer Lizard Mouth, which to me tastes a bit like DFH 90 Minute IPA. Davy Brown is a good brown ale, and I also like I Dunkeled in my Pants, a decent Munich Dunkel. They usually swap out a beer or two on Fridays so the lineup may change a bit.

If you enjoy barrel-aged strong ales and/or sours make sure you make time for Firestone Walker Barrelworks (inside the same building as their normal taproom). It's one of my favorite places on the planet.

If you need dining recommendations let me know.

I'd love to join you for a beer but we have plans to spend the weekend a bit further south, in Camarillo.

Thanks for the recommendations for FM. Definitely hitting Firestone Walker, and Barrelworks. I’d be interested if you know a great steak place. Thanks @BongoYodeler, I’ll owe you a beer if your plans change. :mug:

For a decent steak or pork chop it's hard to go wrong with Hitching Post II. I've had several good meals there, get the grilled artichoke appitizer!! It's one of the two restaurants featured on the movie Sideways, (the other is Los Olivos Cafe and Wine Merchant ((extensive wine menu)), in the artsy town of Los Olivos). Another steak place is AJ Spurs right near Hitching Post on RT 246, more family style from what I hear. I've not eaten there though.

They recently started serving food at Fig Mountain but I've also not eaten there yet. We've had a few uneventful meals at FW. And lastly a cool place to grab a bite, (though a bit pricey), is Industrial Eats just a couple blocks up from Fig Mtn.

We're actually planning on leaving Camarillo late in the day on Saturday in hopes of catching FW before they close. They announced they're releasing, for the first time, an extremely small quantity of vanilla Parabola - only two barrels so it'll go fast.

OMG...embarrassed I totally forgot the reference! My golf game takes after the spoiled brat kid but I use more colorful metaphors! [emoji39]

Just cleared the path for a hot tub delivery. Just in time too since its only 150 out there! Ergo ice water..no really TRUE ice water with a lime...

Last Thursday part of the county got 5.5". Today another part got 4". Straight kick in the nuts. Everything has standing water in it and water over the roads. You?
Had 3" in town, most of our farms are south and broke the 5" mark .

Here is a bin site on a farm we rent. I've never seen water over the driveway before...

2x HB Reds while switching new blower motor to HIGH speed.

Santa Fe trip remnant while discovering why I had no power to the last reciptical on circuit. 70K just doesn't buy good service anymore.

So now off that project as we can't install the hot tub at the location we wanted. So guess who gets to run 60ft 4 wires of 6 gauge THNN threw schedule40 after day drinking. It's only 240vac...no worries! [emoji16]

Send some of that to Montana! Our farm has had about 2" of rain all year. We're basically a desert, but even deserts get rain once in awhile.
