this was a brew to get rid of hops from the freezer
1.078 -> 1.011 for 8.7% abv
87% maris otter
8% sugar
equal parts flaked oats, honey malt and carapils

30% Centennial
30% Mandarina Bavaria
15% Waimea
9% Denali
8% Simcoe
8% Vic Secret

13oz of hops total
50% flame out
30% dry hop on day 3
20% dry hop on day 6

Looks like another just went off at a Goodwill my wife shops at. Sunset Valley, about 8miles from here, looks like a DMZ where Total Wine is where many of your trade beers come from.

Better though too little head retention. I think that I f’d up adding DME to carb without mixing it in water first. Seems to be more variability in this batch.
