What is strange is that the three philosophers come in 4-pks, 15.99$ a pop, it's not like they were out of date either. And I actually work in the beer department at my Wegmans and I'll verify that anybody that doesn't work in grocery or is a distributor knows and does nothing.

Some stores have implemented paint markers on the caps but that is few and far between, especially when you factor in that we brought higher end bottles in and when some stores get in 5 cases of Prairie ales and you sell out 1.5 cases. Something is wrong with the trusting atmosphere.

Depends also on who works the store for distributors, some do not want any of their products to end up in the mix a six but the suppliers generally take stuff that isn't moving, even if expensive and they toss it in the wall just so it doesn't end up as shrink or as part of the monthly reset on the D/Ced cart..

I find that HBT is not supportive of my planned trading hiatus. The plan was for it to start half a year ago.... I suppose that means it can be over now. I mean really, if you give up beef for lent, and have a steak every day of it, lent is still over when it's over.

I have the self control of a small child.
