Coffee, wish it were a Breakfast Stout. Well, that or I was still in bed sleeping or something. I am glad I didn't go for the bourbon last night. That probably would have had me feeling delicate this morning.

How many other bad decisions did you end up avoiding last night? Did you end up hooking up with the ex for some sport coitus.

Water and coffee. Is it time to retire yet?

Espresso #1 getting in my belly. Gotta get kids up and ready for school then log in to work. Not feeling it today. The next espresso may just wind up with the Irish treatment.

I though Death by Coconut had a pretty decent coconut flavor. It's not prop or Momi level intensity, but it is definitely there.

I'm getting kind of pissed at Oskar Blues with the BA ten fidy release. They released it at tasty weasel and increased the price each day until it sold out. Then they sent some to their distributor, but decided they weren't sure if they want to release it. Apparently they are deciding what to do. Wtf? It's beer. Release it so people can buy it and drink it. /rant

About to get some chai. Need this conference call to end.

Anybody here have experience using S-05 in a high gravity brew? I started a thread with specifics as to not clog up this thread.

OT: drinking water at work. 5 hrs down, 4.5 to go...

The guys at B52 brewing near me got their RIS to ~15% with US-05. Have a big healthy pitch and it should get up there. If it doesnt pitch champagne

No, never

I just made a 1 gallon test batch to see what all the fuss was about. The recipe creator said two weeks and ready to keg. Not what I saw. This stuff churned away for a good 6 weeks before clearing and the I bottled.

I think it's a decent cider I'm just not a huge cider fan. Might just have another though, just to be sure.

Clean, crisp, dry but nothing to get too excited about. That's why I pulled it from your lineup.

Ha... I'd have drank it anyway. But yeah, cider's not really my jam.
