Water, lil one's soccer practice then big one's scout meeting. Grumble.

That's my Tuesdays. I feel ya.

How's the Stone? Root beer recipe available?

HB Mango Hard Lemonaid

Stone is meh. It's best before next week fwiw.

Root beer recipe is hard root BEER by fuzzymitten. Nizzle is the one who posted the recipe. First time making it, so we'll see how it goes. Gotta check on the hard lemonade (first time too) and make a pink lemonade version too at some point.

Drinking my DIPA.

Thanks for the reply. Lemonaids are great to brew. Haven't screwed one up yet, as far as fermentation, so easy to play with. Haven't done pink, just playing with different fruits. Limeaids are nice also.

Should have bought 2 more tall boys to fill this big boy. Good stuff!

Hb IPA, bottled 2 gallons of bootch tonight and had my first bottle shatter on me, wing capper I've use for small batches is now in the trash, lesson learned, don't be lazy and pull out the bench capper;)View attachment 308336

8 stitches last year, no longer feeling in thumb from a busted capper/bottles. Great f'en night in ER. Helped move me to kegging. Will not post pics for everyone's sake. Oh, it was a Pliny clone, which turned out great.

Just got to my parents and Mom had these waiting.

Brewed closer to me than them, but can't get it by home.

I've seen it at my local shops in sixers. They want $18.99 for it. Laughable x 1,374,934

Water for now.
Just saw 21A is brewing Marooned On Hog Island again! I loved that beer! I'd like to put in my order now with anyone in CA or in their disto for four 4 packs when it's released.

****. I love that beer, too. I need more.

Pull of nut brown ale before I smash some pulled pork tenderloin.

That's a lesson I seem to forget quite often, at least every other project I'll get lazy then mad for not taking time and doing it the right way. Then I hear my dad and grandpa voice in my head, if you do it the right way every time you won't have to go back. I wonder how long it took them to learn that?

Since I've been following that thread for a while, I figured it's time to take the plunge. Did that a week and change ago, so should be kegging it up soon.

More DIPA to help digest Chinese food.

And you're getting "the look"... I think the goalie knows you're taking a picture of beer!

Nyfrb since the BIL decides to open the last one and not drink it. ****er.

All the parents know I'm drinking something alcoholic. We basically have a bar on the side line during games. They are known as 'Fun cups'.

Finally dropped the $16 for a 6 pack of Sculpin. Good beer. Still don't know if it's worth quite that much just for a 6-pack though.

My thoughts exactly. I mean I'm pumped they're going to open distribution to MI but I haven't been blown away yet.

Speaking of $16 6-packs...This. F yes. I got 3 singles at the local bottle shop. Cost me 16 cents more than one bomber would have. I win.

Finished the hard root beer, on to a bomber of my Amber, and waiting not-so-patiently for the UPS man. Ordered supplies online for once. It's rare, normally my local shop has everything I need at a competitive price with online. This time they didn't. A bunch of mild malt and Bramling Cross hops should be here any minute.

Don't count on it, I still have 1.5 hours of work left.

Water after opening BEER MAIL.

Mark, you are too kind by far. Not sure what the Belgians are but I'm stoked to have them. Never had a Troegs either...and from the rave reviews you've gotten here, I'm most excited to try yours.

Saturday is going to rule.

Enjoy! Spencer is the only Trappist ale made in the states; Stille Nacht will make the Delerium seem pretty tame. My quad is almost certainly flat - stupid yeast never carved it up.

Yeah I read the Spencer bottle before I cellared it. I'll uncellar it Saturday. The Saisons and Hop Stinger went straight in the fridge. For Saturday, the next day I will have a beer.
