**** coffee. Outt at the park and got back at 115 this morning. Baby decided 4 hours of sleep was enough. Another 14 miles in me today

Yuck. You musta been drinking when you agreed to that. Or the one who asked is really pretty. I don't know if I would I were in your shoes that I would go to bed really early, or just power through it and work without sleep. There should not be a 1:45 am to wake up to.

Dunkin Donuts coffee. I really need to pick up another work coffee maker.

More coffee. Must be a good friend, as I was stone sober and he isn't my type. It is a 2 hour 45 minute drive to the meeting point from my house, and I am due there at ~0600. I would power through, but I could be up another 24 hours depending on how the race goes. For whatever reason, he is intent on finishing a 100 mile race. And he expects me to run with him on and off for the second half of the race. :drunk:

With regard to the coffee maker, pick up an Aeropress and an electric tea kettle. Makes great coffee, a cup at a time.

Runners are bat crap crazy. You run 100 miles and what do you get for it? Bloody nipples, sore feet and crap in your shorts. That is a whole lotta nope if you ask me. Sure, I was crazy enough to do 16-18 miles a day hiking last week, but at least I could choose when I wanted to go to the bathroom.

I have an electric tea kettle, had a french press until I threw the glass part of it against the wall while trying to dry it (don't ask how it happened, I still haven't figured it out). I am trying to decide if I should go for another french press, an aeropress, or maybe just make a coffee concentrate at home, bring it in and heat/dilute with hot water here at work. The latter would involve far less cleaning which is nice.

Yeah... working my way up to a 10 mile race this year, and a half marathon next year. We can choose when to use the bathroom during the race.... it just affects our time. It is after the race that we might not have quite so much control.

Stop by the thrift shop - I have seen french presses there for dirt cheap in the past.

Plan for today:
Coffee
DGAF
Water
DGAF
DGAF
FtS
Beer

First two steps complete

Ugh. I thought I had it bad getting up at 5 tomorrow to go white water rafting. At least the weather should be pleasant for running...

I have this press and there are no glass parts to worry about - and more importantly it makes a great cup!

Speaking of which, I'm having some right now.

Full Throttle, taking off early today for pup's rabies shots and what-not.

Stupid family pics with the stupid in-laws tomorrow. Why?

Dress in your stick fighting costume. These will be the last family pictures you'll be asked to participate in.

Costumes are for Halloween, my dobok is for year-round ass whooping.

But I like the way you think.

Don't try to make it fancy, it's a costume.
I say show up in it, with this around your waist full of Busch light. Epic family photos to follow.

Please, you would **** your pants in the ring.

Belt's weak, can't even hold enough to catch a buzz.

Coffee. Wait. Coffee is gone. I need more coffee. Time to get another cup. Something good after the football game tonight if I'm not too tired. Enjoy by, War Mullet, gumballhead and home brew are all in play. Our home sale fell through on Tuesday but it might be back on by this evening. Fingers crossed.

I just had someone call me to complain about a computer problem they are having. Somehow this ended up turning into him telling me a long-winded story about his morning bagel. I had to sit through 10 minutes of this story before I could get him to hang up. At least the workday is half over.

Coffee, there's nobody here and a ****ton of work, do this, that and in the meantime could you do this while the customer waits,I'm one person!
The urge to kill is strong.

Coffee, short work day baby has a doctor appointment. Beer after since the baby is getting shots and will not be a happy camper. Just a few more hours.

Sadly, I will be a couple hours past there when they open. Anyone ever have anything from rockmill in Lancaster? Looks a little awesome.

Can't say I have. But I can say that a detour to the southeast of there, to Athens would be well worth it to visit Jackie-O's.

Water as I try to figure out what I want to do for lunch.

Water.
Anyone need a good laugh? This has been around for a while but it cracks me up every time I hear it. Language warning near the end.

Long time favorite. "Plump little Scottish girl" kills me.

Coff. Had breakfast with a fellow church drunk this morning. We're going to drink less together because yall are no help, what with the mailing me beer and stuff.

Not quitting. No. Just not getting sloppy five days a week. Which turns out might be a problem.

Stop in! The Brewers name is Jennifer and she's awesome. Try their saisons; you won't regret it!

Edit: second the stop in Athens.
