Hahaha - we will likely have snow here by the time you wax your car!

Depends how far north you are and how early snow comes! I remember trick-or-treating in central VT in snow flurries, also recall driving south through NH on my way back to college when a late October storm knocked out power from Central CT to mid-NH (my parents didn't get hardly any in Central VT.)

I was in Craftsbury this Saturday (part of the reason the car finally got washed) and it was HOT! I don't recall a mountain stream or spring fed pond ever feeling so warm.

Anyway, the car gets a full treatment in the fall - makes it easier to wash in the spring.

Water. Had s'mores after dinner ont he left over coals from the grilled pizza. Gonna need to swim it off in the AM!

Let's catch up, I think.

Umm...3 of these while I cooked and ate. I think. I'll count my empties next time I'm up.

Oklahoma does one thing right. OK, probably everything Prairie does, but that counts as one thing.

Oh, dinner was outstanding. Teriyaki chops, grilled pineapple. Oven roasted broccoli with garlic, dressed with lemon juice. I grilled baby red potatoes but I didn't want any.

Talk about Monday sneaking up on ya... Friends gone. Food and beer demolished. Want another but well passed safe bed time.

Is coney island's better? I saw it and thought about it.

I just put my gf root beer on gas. 6% tasty even w/o carbonation. Should be solid when carbed and fully mixed. NYFRB is too sweet for me.

IMO it is, plus it's cheaper.

I think I give the nod to Coney Island, but it is the same cost here at most places.
Sam Adams forced so much of it on their distributors that they forced it on the stores in mass quantities. My local liquor said that the distributor made them take 80 cases. My local grocery store (Publix) put it straight on BOGO to get rid of it.

Sam's has NYFRB for $10 a sixer. I have one in the fridge. If I like it, I'll grab some. I tend to like beer though.

Same here, but people up here love it. The 20 case long by 6 case high display near the registers at local liquor store is almost gone. It goes for $10.99 (sale of $9.49) up here and I have yet to see NYFRB on the shelf but saw tags for $14.99.

Publix liquidated it quickly, the liquor store still has ~40 cases, 3 weeks later. It's funny that everyone, for the most part, made a giant cube near the registers. I did the BOGO, and it took me the better part of 2 weeks to kill it. After 2, I start to get a lot of artificial sweetener flavor from it.
