Its actually just a hot liquor tank. I can probably boil in it but i just use it to heat up strike and sparge water. Saves me a ton on propane. I got it free from my friends at B-52 brewing. (Local brewery) they said that other homebrewers passed on it. Their loss my gain. I love that thing.
